Bowleven appoints David Clarkson as Operations Director

Bowleven commences drilling of IF-1r exploration well

Bowleven says that David Clarkson has been appointed Operations Director of the Company with effect from today.

David brings extensive oil and gas industry experience to the Bowleven Board and management team. During a career spanning over 30 years in BP he held a variety of senior executive positions in the Upstream business, including leading major project developments in frontier locations and as Technical Vice President for Projects & Engineering, and most recently in the Rumaila Field in Iraq.

David has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
