DSV Seven Pelican

BP Norge has received consent to carry out manned subsea operations on Valhall IP and Valhall with the vessel DSV Seven Pelican.

BP plans to conduct diving operations at the beginning of September to install five reinforcement clamps on the Valhall IP facility, and to remove anodes and doubling plates from the substructure of the Valhall WP facility.

The company Subsea 7 will conduct the actual diving. The diving operations are planned for a fourteen-day period and will take place from the vessel DSV Seven Pelican.

Work on the IP facility will be conducted at water depths down to 10 meters. Work on the WP facility will take place at water depths down to 70 meters.
