CanElson Drilling Inc. has appointed Diane Brickner to the board of directors of CanElson.

With more than 40 years of experience in the insurance industry, Ms. Brickner has successfully overseen Peace Hills Insurance expand to all provinces and territories west of Ontario, reach annual sales of 200 million dollars, and grow to approximately 190 employees. She joined the western Canadian First Nations owned company at its inception in 1981and was appointed President and CEO in 1990.

"Having sat on numerous boards such as the Board of Governors for N.A.I.T., the Insurance Bureau of Canada, and the Edmonton Eskimos Football Club, Diane brings considerable governance experience and a diverse view point to the CanElson board" stated Randy Hawkings, "Ms. Brickner will be a valuable addition to complement our ongoing strategic direction and governance team at CanElson."
