The Board of Directors of Century Energy has appointed Brian McBeath as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1st, 2010.

McBeath has over 35 years experience as a petroleum geologist in Calgary. He has worked as an officer for both public and private companies, where he was responsible for all aspects of the exploration effort including prospect generation, geological and geophysical interpretations, land tenure, project and budget management, property evaluations, and operations support. Jimmy McCarroll will continue as a Director and serve as Chairman of the Board.

McCarroll commented, "The Board feels very positive about Brian McBeath becoming the President and CEO of Century. He is a successful and highly qualified executive with a history of developing and implementing successful exploration projects in Canada."

At the recent Annual Shareholder meeting, the incumbent directors were re-elected. The Executive Team will consist of Brian McBeath as President and CEO, Doug Baker as Chief Financial Officer, Jimmy McCarroll as Chairman, and James Thomson as Secretary and legal counsel.
