Chapman Freeborn Airchartering-3

Chapman Freeborn Airchartering has launched an executive shuttle service for oil and gas industry executives visiting Brazil Offshore 2011, held in Macaé June 14-17.

Travelling to Macaé by road from Rio de Janeiro will take attendees up to three hours - whereas using Chapman Freeborn’s executive shuttle delegates can fly direct to the city in as little as 20 minutes.

Macaé is the base of operations for over 80 per cent of Brazil's offshore exploration, and the event attracts a global audience of nearly 50,000 professionals and showcases over 600 exhibiting companies.

Chapman Freeborn’s Brazil team will utilise a fleet of charter aircraft to perform the service - including VLJ and midsize executive jets, as well as more economical turbo-prop aircraft for groups of up to 18 passengers.

The shuttle will be operated June 14-17 from three pre-determined airports: Santos Dumont Airport in Rio de Janeiro, Congonhas Airport, Sao Paulo, and Pampulha Airport, Belo Horizonte.

Pricing on a modern four-seat Citation Mustang VLJ starts from US $3,800 based on an all inclusive round trip from Santos Dumont to Macaé. On the same route an EMB110 Bandeirante turbo-prop aircraft - perfect for moving groups of up to 18 delegates to and from the venue - starts from US $3,300.

Flight time from Rio de Janeiro to Macaé varies from 20-35 minutes depending on the aircraft type.

Demand for the shuttle service is expected to be high so attendees are encouraged to book as early as possible to avoid disappointment (Booking deadline: May 10).
