Graham Alexander - Johnston Carmichael

A team from Johnston Carmichael is to visit the Middle East next week as an increasing number of its oil and gas clients look towards investment in this fast growth region.

The drop in oil price and current uncertainties in the North Sea have meant companies are looking for new countries and emirates to expand into, with the UAE market proving to be a popular choice thanks to its track record and relative stability.

Leading Scottish accountancy and business advisory firm Johnston Carmichael, which specialises in supporting the oil and gas sector, will be talking with businesses and financial experts during the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) on 10-13 November.

Business development director Craig Yeoman will be travelling to Abu Dhabi along with head of oil and gas and corporate finance partner Graham Alexander. Graham said: “By visiting the exhibition and meeting with financial experts on the ground, we can increase our knowledge about the operating frameworks in the region.
