CNL Software has appointed John Menzel as Vice President of Marketing. Menzel is a well-respected name in the global security industry, with over fifteen years of senior management experience in a range of successful enterprises. He joins a rapidly growing team at CNL Software, as it continues to expand its activities and dominate the global PSIM market.

John brings an extensive knowledge of the global security industry and a wealth of expertise with him to CNL Software. He has held a number of senior executive positions with major industry enterprises including National Sales Manager at Intellikey and Director of Business Development and Technology Integration and Product Marketing Manager at HID Corporation, a division of Assa Abloy. Through his latest venture he attained industry recognition as the CEO, President and co-founder of the innovative and highly profitable, XceedID, which was successfully acquired by Ingersoll Rand in 2008. Following the sale, John continued with Ingersoll-Rand Security in General Manager and Director of Marketing Strategy roles.

John brings a successful track record of establishing major reseller relationships and agreements with Fortune 100 companies on five continents including GE Security, United Technologies Corporation and Ingersoll-Rand.

He will also focus on increasing brand awareness of IPSecurityCenter™ and will work with other industry leaders to provide thought leadership in the fast paced PSIM market.
