ConocoPhillips gets consent for water injection operations on Ekofisk

ConocoPhillips Skandinavia AS (CoPSAS) has received consent to use subsea facilities for water injection on Ekofisk 2/4 V-A at the Ekofisk Center in the Norwegian North Sea. The facilities will replace the water injection facility/wells on 2/4 W.

The consent comprises, among other things, the use of eight water injection wells drilled by the Maersk Innovator jackup, use of a new pipeline for water injection and use of cables and equipment for managing the injection.
