OPRA Technologies expands management team

The Municipality of Hengelo (NL), OPRA and BTG-BTL recently signed a cooperation agreement to build a combined heat and power plant running on biofuel.

The parties have agreed to install an OPRA OP16 gas turbine running on pyrolysis oil produced by BTG-BTL in order to provide heat and electricity to the newly developed district heating system of Hengelo.

The municipality of Hengelo has received support from the Dutch Government to develop this project due to its innovative and environmentally friendly character.
