Dometic is introducing the new fully automatic Dometic Sea Xchange CX Watermaker, a high-capacity unit built for extreme offshore conditions, at the International Workboat Show.

The Dometic Sea Xchange CX can produce between 8,000-40,000 gallons per day (GPD) of potable water for a wide range of commercial applications, including on offshore platforms, floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) facilities, workboats, military vessels and island resorts.

“The CX is unique for several reasons. Firstly, it is a variable-capacity system, and can reduce output when demand is lower. It is also the only commercial watermaker that offers full mechanical and electrical backup to the automated features on the system,” said Paul Hickinbotham, Director EMEA - Sales and Administrations & Commercial Division, Dometic. “The CX also comes with remote, offsite monitoring capabilities included as a standard feature with every unit.”
