Nidal Abu-Maizer - Assistant VP, Edgo Ventures

Edgo Ventures has appointed Mr. Nidal Abu-Maizer as Assistant Vice President, based at the Jordan head office. Nidal is an experienced buy-side investment professional with a solid knowledge of the Middle East and North Africa.

Nidal joins Edgo from Global Investment House (Global), where he was Senior Investment Analyst in the MENA Asset Management division. At Global, Nidal assisted in establishing the MENA Asset Management division, and has played a key role in the areas of research and product development, as well as monitoring a number of Global’s strategic investments in Jordan. Previously, Nidal was a financial analyst in the asset management division of Atlas Investment Group (now AB Invest), a member of the Arab Bank Group, where he was responsible for equity analysis across the MENA region and a member of the private equity team. Nidal started his professional career in the US, where he was an Associate in the consulting practice at Global Insight Inc., Boston.

Nidal holds an MSc degree from the McCallum Graduate School of Business, Bentley University (USA), and a BSc degree in Finance from the same university. Nidal is also a CFA charterholder.

Edgo Ventures Limited is the Group's corporate finance and investment management arm. It focuses on expanding the Group's oil field service activities through mergers and acquisitions, providing financial structuring and capital raising expertise for the Group's exploration and production affiliate, Edgo Energy Limited and it also develops the Group's investments in non-energy related fields.
