Electro-Flow Controls (EFC), an Aberdeen-based leading designer and manufacturer of Instrumentation, Monitoring and Control Systems for the global oil and gas industry, has appointed Dave Walker as financial director.
Mr Walkers appointment is a consequence of EFC’s £10million managment buy-in last year. The management team is now led by new managing director Bob Will, who will combine his complementary business Celeris and it’s mechanical handling solutions with EFC’s advanced controls and electronic systems.
Formerly a senior business development partner at Clydesdale Bank, Mr Walker has more than 20 years experience in both the financial sector and industry, previously holding senior positions with HBOS, DES Operations and ENSCO.
“Through my role at DES Operations which resulted in a successful sale to Cameron, I consolidated on my oil and gas industry knowledge gained in various financial organisations, leaving me well placed to use that experience in my new role here at EFC. It is very satisfying to join a company at a period where it is poised for rapid international growth” said Mr Walker.
