Empire Oil&Gas NL has appointed Rachel Rees as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary, effective 23 February 2015.

Rachel has more than 20 years experience as a senior financial executive across a broad range of industries including mining, industrial, electronics, agriculture, retail, television and transport.

Ms Rees is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, Fellow of Governance Institute Australia and Fellow of Taxation Institute of Australia and has extensive commercial, strategic and risk management, corporate governance, company secretarial and financial experience across a vast range of industries from smaller organisations (Australian and international) and multinationals to listed corporations. Previous roles include Chief Financial Officer Rex Minerals Ltd, Group Company Secretary of Hills Holdings Ltd and Vice President - Corporate Affairs&CFO Uranium One Australia.
