Enventure expands international presence in UK

Enventure Global Technology

Enventure Global Technology, the provider of SET® solid expandable technology, declared the addition of two senior-level employees to the company's Aberdeen, UK office. As general manager Alastair McClean assumes responsibility for sales, marketing, and operations in Europe & West Africa as well as the development of growth strategies in neighboring markets. Jim Beattie will be responsible for the coordination of sales and marketing efforts for Enventure Global Technology in West Africa.

"As solid expandable technology grows in worldwide demand, we continue to strengthen our organization by bringing on industry veterans like Alastair and Jim to support drilling and completions worldwide," said Kevin Waddell, vice president of business development and solutions for Enventure. "By strategically enhancing our international offices, such as our recent addition in Beijing, Enventure can provide local support for even the most demanding jobs requiring SET technology."

McClean joins Enventure after spending 20 years with Baker Hughes, mostly in international assignments. He has held various positions within global accounts, operations and sales management with exposure to markets in Europe, Africa, Russia, Caspian, Latin America, the Middle East, Asia and North America. McClean received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Ulster and has been published by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) of which he is a member.

Beattie has more than 20 years of project management and sales experience in drilling and completions and joins Enventure from Aker Subsea. He has a broad range of technical expertise, including coring, sand control, expandable sand screens, completion design, and subsea hardware installations in deepwater projects. Beattie has a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen.
