Environmental Drilling Solutions

Environmental Drilling Solutions, LLC, (EDS), a leader in solids control, cuttings processing and zero discharge services, recently opened a new facility in Weirton, WV, announced Regional Manager Jake Garber.

The Weirton location will handle mobile dryer and centrifuge units operating in the Southwest Marcellus and Utica shale plays. Features of the new facility include a 3,000-square-foot office and 3,000-square-foot warehouse strategically located to dispatch personnel and equipment.

EDS employs approximately 275 people in eight locations. The company expects to add 30 to the Weirton facility by the end of 2012 to support its operations.

"EDS is pleased to begin operations in the region and become active members of the community," Area Manager, Richard Guillory said. “The facility is conveniently located near the airport, the highway and many of the drilling rigs in the area, which is beneficial to our clients."
