Aberdeen-based TCO In-Well Technologies UK Limited, a provider of well completion technologies to the global oil & gas industry, has expanded into new premises, more than doubled its team and is on target to achieve a turnover of £1.3million for 2011.
Formed late 2009, TCO UK has taken a 2 year lease on new 1534 sq ft office and workshop facility in Claremont Street, Aberdeen. Growing its team from two to eight, including an engineer based in Australia, the company is focused on strong UK and international growth.
TCO UK general manager, Derek Taylor, said: “TCO UK has had a very successful and busy first 19 months and we aim to build on our reputation for providing innovative well completion technologies.
“Our move to larger premises in Aberdeen allows us to continue expansion in the UK. Our aim is to continue this growth and also target other key international regions including West Africa. We have taken on two new engineers and plan to make several further new staff appointments before the end of the year, both locally and abroad.”
The company recently appointed a new customer services manager to maintain customer relationships and enhance performance across multiple clients.
Ian Wilson joins the team with over twenty years management experience, having previously held a senior position with Baker Hughes.
Mr Wilson said: “I am extremely pleased to be joining TCO UK at such an exciting time. The company has a number of strong prospects in both the North Sea and international markets and there is a real focus on growth for the coming year.”
