Mechanical engineering specialist, EnerMech, has completed a pre-commissioning engineering, pipework reinstatement and leak testing services contract, offshore Vietnam on behalf of DOF Subsea.

The workscope was on the TGT Field Development Project which is being developed by Hoang Long Joint Operating Company in the Cuu Long Basin, located 100km south east of Vung Tau

The contract included the provision of materials, equipment and personnel to carry out subsea hydrostatic leak testing on four flexible production risers, a water injection riser and two flexible gas risers. EnerMech also assisted with turret pipework removal and re-instatement, bolt tensioning/torquing, and lifting and rigging services.

EnerMech’s Asia Pacific regional director, John Guy, said: “This was our first time working with DOF Subsea and we were delighted at being given the opportunity to demonstrate the value of offering integrated service lines.

“We provided a range of equipment and services, from hydraulic bolt tensioning and torquing for the topside scope, to subsea hydrotest equipment for the subsea flexible riser pre-commissioning work and lifting and rigging requirements.

“Our policy of investing in people and infrastructure in Singapore gives us the flexibility and capacity for rapid deployment required by clients in the Asia Pacific oil and gas sector.”
