Graham Cowperthwaite

The Ferguson Group, specialists in the rental of containers, accommodation modules and engineering modules to the offshore energy industry around the world, has announced two key appointments as part of its ongoing international expansion.

Graham Cowperthwaite has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Group’s Ferguson Modular division. He joined Ferguson Group in 2010 as Chief Operating Officer of the newly formed Accommodation Solutions Vessel division and led the project to upgrade and fit out the first ASV and secure charters. He has many years’ experience in senior roles managing energy industry facilities on and offshore for companies including KCA Deutag Drilling and OIS International.

In a further appointment to support global growth, Hayley Yule has joined the company as Group Marketing Manager. She has held senior sales and marketing roles in major organisations serving various industries, including: oil and gas, construction, defence and HSE and pharmaceuticals. Her expertise includes strategic marketing, brand development and new market penetration.

The appointments come as the Ferguson Group continues to expand with a new base in Dubai and a move to larger premises in Norway and Australia.

Ferguson Group managing director Steven Ferguson said: “I am pleased to announce both of these key appointments. Hayley is taking up a new position within the Group and one that will play an important role in taking the company to the next level. She has an impressive track-record of delivering results throughout her career and we are confident she will make a significant impact on our global business.’’

“Graham’s promotion to CEO of Ferguson Modular is richly deserved and his vast industry experience has proved invaluable to date. Our success depends on having an experienced, knowledgeable team with international expertise in our key markets and these appointments strengthen our management team.’’

Mr Cowperthwaite said: “With the successful completion of the ASV project, I am looking forward very much to taking on a new challenge within the Ferguson Group. We are one of the biggest global suppliers of accommodation solutions to the offshore industry, able to respond quickly to client demand – wherever it might be and however many units are needed. Ferguson Modular has an excellent reputation for offering a flexible range of high-quality accommodation solutions and exceptional service to a growing number of international customers and will keep investing to ensure we can meet global demand.’’

Mrs Yule said: “I am really pleased to be joining the Ferguson Group at such an exciting time as the group expands its international business bases.”
