Flexlife, a specialist provider of flexible pipe technologies and engineering services, has seen successful growth at its Newcastle base since opening 18 months ago.

The office has grown from three to 24 employees with turnover in excess of £1.5 million.

Andy Lake, appointed to head up the office as Director of Operations, has been recently appointed to the position of company wide Director – Flexible Pipe Technology in addition to continuing in his role spearheading development of the Newcastle base.

Mr Lake said: “We are thrilled with the progression the Newcastle office has seen since its opening last year. We have surpassed our growth expectations and have built up a highly qualified team to execute projects around the globe, drawing on Flexlife’s project management, integrity management and engineering capabilities in combination with our portfolio of integrity management products.

“We have provided support to some major projects, and look forward to continuing to assist global projects and operations for our clients. We work closely alongside the Aberdeen office and anticipate further growth in our operations over the coming year.”
