GDF SUEZ E&P UK Limited has appointed Jean-Claude Perdigues as UK Managing Director.

Mr Perdigues has 25 years of experience in the energy industry including seven in exploration and production with GDF SUEZ E&P. A graduate of French École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC), he worked in several positions within GDF SUEZ in procurement, strategy and international finance before being appointed Chief Financial Officer of GDF SUEZ Deutschland in 1998. In 2004, he joined GDF SUEZ E&P as Business Development Manager and was appointed Vice President Business Development in 2008.

GDF SUEZ E&P UK has grown significantly over the last three years and is now well-placed to pursue the development of the flagship Juliet and Cygnus fields. Cygnus is the largest Southern North Sea gas project in the last 30 years and Jean-Claude Perdigues will be responsible for the successful development of this and all other UK projects, both as operator and partner.
