Gippsland apponts Oliver Lennox-King as non-executive Director

Gippsland Offshore Petroleum Limited

Gippsland Offshore Petroleum Limited has appointed Mr Oliver Lennox-King as a non-executive director of the company with effect from the 3 July 2009. Mr Lennox-King has over 20 years experience in the resources industry with particular expertise in marketing and administration. This appointment seeks to both broaden the experience base of the Board and lift the profile of the company with potential Canadian investors.

Mr Lennox-King is a resident of Toronto Canada and has held a number of resource company directorships including Fronteer Development where he is currently Chairman.

The Board welcomes Mr Lennox-King and looks forward to the ongoing contributions that he will make to the future of the Company.
