Greene’s Energy Group has opened an Asia Pacific operational base, Greene’s Energy Group Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, announced CEO, Bob Vilyus.
The new base will service the Asia Pacific region. Specifically, the Pacific Rim and Southeast Asia to include, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei, Vietnam, Papua New Guinea, Australia, New Zealand and China. The base will also be used to service the Middle East and India.
John Johnston, General Manager Asia Pacific & Middle East, will be responsible for leading Greene’s Energy Group’s expansion initiative. Johnson has more than 29 years of industry experience in both the upstream and downstream sectors.
“John is a highly motivated individual that brings with him a wealth of business knowledge within the industry as a whole and more specifically in the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions,” said Vilyus. “During the last 21 years, John has held a variety of management positions which include country and regional experience; this experience will definitely play a vital role in the continued success and development of our company.”
Geographically, the new location will allow Greene’s to expedite and enhance customer service. At approximately 140,000 sq. ft., the base includes offices, a warehouse, and heavy equipment yard space. Additionally, all of Greene’s business divisions, including; drilling, production, pipeline, commissioning and specialty services, completion and workover rentals, and pigging product operations will be handled out of the base.
