Hoidi wins Rig Leg Fabrication contract from CMHI for a Newbuild Jackup

HOIDI International Pte Ltd

Singapore based HOIDI International Pte Ltd has been awarded a Rig Leg Fabrication & Construction Contract by China Merchant Heavy Industry, for the Vanda Offshore CJ50 400ft Jack-up.

The scope of work for the contract includes the fabrication, installation, erection & construction of a complete set of legs for the Vanda Offshore Gusto MSC CJ 50-X120-E Jack up Rig, which is a high specification rig, made with an operation depth of 400ft and the Hook load of 2,000,000 Kips. The Jack-up rig is currently scheduled to be delivered in Q1 of 2016, while its main leg component [rack & chord] will be made up of EQ70 special grade steel that can operate in -20°C waters, & suitable for north sea usage.

Vanda Offshore’s CJ50 400ft Jack-up Rig marks the 4th CJ50 leg construction contract won by the HOIDI Group this year, and the 17th Jack-up construction Offshore Engineering Contract since 2013.
