Hyperdynamics' exploration program focusing on Transform Margin play

Hyperdynamics Corporation has hired Michael W. Palmer as its Vice President of Operations. Palmer, who will join the Company on May 17, has extensive operational experience with Amoco Corporation, Nations Energy and, most recently, Oudeh Petroleum. He has worked in Gabon, Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Belize and Syria.

"Mike's familiarity with West African operations will be particularly helpful as we move forward with our offshore exploration program in the Republic of Guinea, including our plans for the drilling of our first well by end of year 2011," Ray Leonard, Hyperdynamics' President and CEO, said. "We are delighted Mike is joining us as he will expand the breadth and depth of our production skill set."

Mr. Palmer has a chemical engineering degree from the University of Washington and is a graduate of Columbia University's Senior Executive Management Program.
