IDGLOBAL has appointed Mr. Dean Philpot as the President of IDGLOBAL’s Oil and Gas division.

Mr. Philpot began his career in the oil patch working for the family businesses, Master Drillers, Inc and Standard Energy (Dallas, TX). Master Drillers operated 5 contract rotary drilling ring in the Ft. Worth Basin and in West Texas based out Mineral Wells, Texas. Standard Energy drilled and developed more than 60 wells in Young, Throckmorton, King, Palo Pinto and Cotton County Oklahoma. Eventually Mr. Philpot formed a partnership in Dallas to broker and buy producing properties as well as drill and develop others. Later, Mr. Philpot worked for Consolidated Oil & Gas, Inc and them became President of Hidalgo Exploration & Production Company, Inc of Kingwood, TX. During this 30 year career he personally leased over 100,000 acres of land in Texas and Oklahoma and has been involved in the drilling of over 150 oil and gas wells.
