IKM Elektro AS and ENI Norge AS have signed a service contract for overhaul and repair of electric motors, generators and heaters on Goliat platform. The contract has a duration of 3 years with an option of 2+2 years and will be performed as an Integrated Operations project.

-IKM Elektro is very happy to see that our efforts to become a direct supplier to Operators on the Norwegian shelf are being rewarded with yet another important contract. The fact that this is happening within our motor/winding department is especially pleasing says Managing Director Øystein Stjern.

IKM Elektro and ENI Norge will work closely to set maintenance strategies and execute the overall maintenance program for motors and heaters. Both companies expect that the contract will utilize local personnel and IKM Elektro will use the already established IKM facilities in Hammerfest as the operational hub. As much work as possible will be executed in Hammerfest and employment of additional local staff will be addressed shortly.
