InterMoor has been awarded a preset mooring project for Shell Todd Oil Services offshore New Zealand, announced InterMoor President Tom Fulton.

During the month of February, InterMoor completed the design, engineering, procurement and installation services for preset moorings in the Ruru Field. Upon completion of the drilling program, InterMoor will be providing the same services for the recovery phase.

Eight preset mooring legs were pre-laid and hooked up at a water depth of approximately 105 meters (344 ft). This operation was for the drillship Noble Discoverer, and InterMoor provided personnel to complete the installation.

“This project for Shell Todd allows InterMoor to expand our offerings to offshore New Zealand,” said Richard Luck, general manager of InterMoor Pte Ltd. “We are excited about the opportunity to provide quality mooring services to a new region.”
