Ivor Sinclair- ITS Group

ITS Group, a provider of oilfield equipment and services to the global oil and gas industry, has strengthened its management team with two senior appointments as the company looks to enhance UK and European activity.

In Aberdeen, Ivor Sinclair has been appointed as general manager of ITS’s UK business, with Toine van Bladel taking up a similar position in a newly formed Continental European division.

Mr Sinclair has been recruited to grow ITS’s existing UK activity through the expansion of its existing core service offering and introducing new products and services to the market. Mr Sinclair has acquired more than 30 years experience in the drilling services sector and held senior management positions with a number of major service companies. His appointment strengthens the existing management team in Aberdeen as it continues to develop its client portfolio.

Mr van Bladel joins ITS with nearly 30 years experience also working in the drilling services sector. He is responsible for overseeing the development of ITS’s activity across Continental Europe from a new service facility based in The Netherlands. Mr van Bladel has previously held senior management positions in sales and operations with several oilfield service providers and his knowledge of the European markets is important as ITS looks to provide the region with its full service offering – drilling and pressure control equipment rental and fishing, casing running and machine shop services.

Jeff Corray, ITS Group chief executive officer, said: “We welcome the appointments of Ivor and Toine to ITS. Their collective knowledge and experience from working in various roles within the oilfield drilling services sector is invaluable as we look to expand our business activities in the UK and Europe.”
