J. Ray reports the successful construction of an approximately 14,000-tonne integrated deck constructed at its fabrication facility on Batam Island, Indonesia.

The North Belut Central Processing Platform (NBCPP) topsides, was built for ConocoPhillips Indonesia and is the third significant large deck that J. Ray has built on Batam.

Work on the project began in January 2007 and at peak of construction, more than 1,200 people worked on NBCPP topsides achieving an impressive 5.2 million man-hours without a Lost Time Incident.

J. Ray's scope of work included procurement of tertiary steel and bulks, construction engineering, fabrication, onshore commissioning and offshore hook-up and commissioning of NBCPP. J. Ray also constructed the eight-leg steel jacket for NBCPP under a different contract that included construction engineering, procurement of tertiary steel, and fabrication.

The North Belut field is located in Block B of the Indonesian sector of the Natuna Sea, approximately 60 kilometers east-northeast of the Belanak FPSO installed in the Belanak Field.
