KBR subsidiary awarded frame agreement by StatoilHydro

KBR's consulting subsidiary Granherne has been awarded a three year frame agreement by StatoilHydro ASA to provide conceptual engineering services for the development of oil and gas resources in the Gullfaks Area of the Norwegian continental shelf. Granherne will provide consulting engineering services to evaluate potential processing scenarios for the optimization of StatoilHydro's process systems and infrastructure.

"Granherne is pleased to be able to continue working with StatoilHydro, a relationship that spans over 20 years," said Clive Vaughan, Vice President, Granherne. "We are recognized as a quality supplier in conceptual engineering services, and this award consolidates our market position in the Norwegian sector for this type of work."

Granherne is a leading front-end engineering consultancy for onshore, offshore and deepwater oil and gas developments and has experience on over 3,000 projects in more than 20 countries. Granherne has provided services for more than 100 subsea developments, including step out expansions, marginal fields and major subsea projects.
