Franklin “Paco” McLaughlin has been promoted to General Manager for Knight Manufacturing, President Mark Knight announced.

McLaughlin has been with Knight for six years, most recently as Director of Operations for Knight Oil Tools’ Rocky Mountain Region.

In his new role as General Manager, based in Lafayette, La., he will manage all aspects of Knight Manufacturing’s business for five operating locations across the United States including Rayne, La.; Broussard, La.; Odessa, Texas; Rock Springs, Wyo.; and Williston, N.D.

“Paco has proven time and again that he is a highly effective leader for our company,” said Knight. “The knowledge and experience he has gathered while managing various Knight product lines are invaluable to our continued growth.”

McLaughlin, a native of Lafayette, earned a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree. He also volunteers on the board of directors for Love INC., a faith-based organization that provides immediate aid to those in need within the community.
