Knight Oil Tools’ Tri*Drill Services business unit has achieved the distinction of obtaining Fearnley Procter NS-1™ Level 2 approvals for: new application of Tritanium hardbanding product to tool joints; for its Broussard, La. facility for application of hardbanding to new joints; and a Fearnley Procter NS-2™ Level 2 approval for its drill string inspection facility also at Broussard.
The Fearnley Procter NS accreditation program provides oilfield equipment and service companies with an industry-recognized approval program that supplements the requirements of American Petroleum Institute (A.P.I.) standards and demonstrates superior quality management and performance to offshore and onshore operators.
