Knight Oil Tools has declared that Chris J. Camos has joined the company as Vice President, Real Estate and Construction.

In his new position, Camos will be responsible for all real estate, land acquisitions and construction projects from planning, design and construction to completion. He will oversee all ongoing and future construction projects for Knight Oil Tools and its business units.

Camos is the third generation in his family to be in the construction industry and he has more than 30 years of experience in sales, real estate and construction development. Prior to joining Knight Oil Tools, he held the position of Vice President for Rudick Company, Inc., a Louisiana general contracting company that specializes in constructing commercial facilities for the oil and gas industry and has previously built several Knight Oil Tools’ facilities. Camos also worked for the J.I. Case Construction Equipment Division, where he held several marketing positions. His most recent position was Regional Marketing Manager.

He obtained a real estate license at the age of 18 and started his own construction company, building homes before moving into commercial contracting.

Camos studied marketing at the University of Southwest Louisiana; business at Austin Community College and the University of Texas at Austin and he received a certificate in Industrial Distribution from Texas A & M University.

According to Mark Knight, President of Knight Oil Tools, “Chris’ diverse background in real estate and construction will be invaluable to the company as we continue to expand our facilities to meet our customers’ needs.”
