Knight Well Services opens facility in Terrebonne Port-Spotlight

Knight Well Services has named Don Parks Engineering Manager.

Parks will oversee the plug and abandonment procedures for Knight Well Services and be actively involved in submitting bid proposals for the company. He will be based out of Knight’s Houston location.

“Don’s industry experience will be an asset to Knight as this sector of the company’s business continues to grow,” said Pat McLaughlin, Executive Vice President for Knight. “He will be an important partner in upholding Knight’s commitment to safety and quality.”

Parks has more than 33 years of experience as a production engineer, working in both onshore and offshore fields.

Parks earned a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology from Southeastern Louisiana University and attended Tulane University where he pursued graduate studies in Petroleum Engineering.

Focused on providing “zero failure” equipment and service for more than 39 years, Knight Oil Tools has grown to include Knight Fishing Services, Well Services and Manufacturing. The company is the largest privately held rental and fishing tools business in the oil and gas industry. Knight has an extensive inventory of high-quality products necessary for safe, efficient and productive oilfield projects.
