Moncla Marine has acquired an inland water workover barge rig fleet from TETRA Applied Technologies, LLC., announced Mike Moncla, COO of the Moncla Companies.

The three 24-hour inland workover barge rigs will be based along the Gulf Coast of Louisiana. To be named the Snapper, Porpoise and Mackerel, the three rigs will join the six current fleet members, the Stingray, Gator, Moccasin, Copperhead, Catfish and Sac-a-Lait.

Moncla Marine provides a diversified fleet of workover barge rigs that include daylight or 24-hour options, floating or sunk operations in water depths of 3 feet to 15 feet, the only posted workover rig in the market, and the only workover rigs with triple derricks. Moncla Marine specializes in workovers, completions, sidetracks, re-entries, shallow drilling, and plug and abandonments in the inland waters of the Gulf Coast.
