Frame agreements for insulation, scaffolding and surface treatment and for operational inspection have been awarded by Statoil, acting on behalf of Gassco AS as operator for Gassled.
These contracts all run for four years with options to extend them for two by two years.
The frame agreement for insulation, scaffolding and surface treatment at the Kollsnes plant near Bergen has been awarded to BIS Industrier. These services have often formed part of a more extensive frame agreement for maintenance and modification, but have now been separated out. This is partly intended to ensure greater diversity and strengthen competition.
A frame agreement for operational inspection at Kollsnes has been awarded to Aker Solutions, while AGR Emiteam will provide these services for the Kårstø processing plant north of Stavanger and at the Draupner gas hub in the North Sea.
