Alexander-Peter Schmidt has assumed management of the Voss Fluid “Ready-to-Install hydraulic line systems” division. His goal is to expand the system business of the fluid supplier. In the future customers should be supplied more comprehensively and efficiently the tailor-made hydraulic lines and hoses, as well as ready to install assemblies or prefabricated assembly kits.

In this newly created position, Alexander-Peter Schmidt is immediately responsible for the optimisation and expansion of the system business of VOSS Fluid. “There are only very few suppliers globally that offer a similar broad product range for hydraulics. Our customers get everything from one source – from the single connection, to individual tube geometries and fabricated hose lines, right up to ready-to-install assemblies or prefabricated assembly kits.” says Alexander-Peter Schmidt, manager of ready-to-install hydraulic line systems at VOSS Fluid. He adds: “We are going to expand and strengthen this position.”

Alexander-Peter Schmidt has worked in the hydraulic branch for 17 years. Among others, he worked for a well-known manufacturer of circuit breakers, which also gained recognition as a robot developer. In addition he supported the development of a smaller manufacturer as specialist for hose lines.

VOSS Fluid had its origin in hydraulic connection technology. Last year the company acquired the Italian market competitor, Larga, and could thus also integrate hose fittings into its product line. A while later the company formed the “ready-to-install hydraulic line systems” department in order to create as system supplier a demand-oriented range of products for customers.
