North American Petroleum Plc

North American Petroleum Plc is pleased to provide an operations update on its activities in the Mississippi Lime formation, Oklahoma. This update is in line with NAP’s strategy to build net production and reserves by acquiring and developing a portfolio of leases in liquids rich hydrocarbon plays.

North American’s Managing Director Stefan Olivier said, “The initial production rates of 549 bopd and 296 boepd for the JKL 1-08HM and Sullins 1-6MH wells in which we have an interest, demonstrate the highly positive effect advanced techniques, such as horizontal drilling and fracture stimulation, can have on recovery rates in historic US onshore formations such as the Mississippi Lime. With these excellent results in mind, we are looking forward to receiving IPRs for other wells in which NAP is participating including the Blaser 1-10, as we look to significantly grow our net production and revenues.
