Australia's NuEnergy Gas Ltd. provided an update on the drilling progress for its core wells at the Tanjung Enim Production Sharing Contract (PSC) tenement in South Sumatra, Indonesia.

Core Well -- TE-008C has been successfully drilled to the Target Depth Coals have been logged and a cumulative 161 feet (49 meter) of net coal seams have been identified Logs confirmed over 43 feet (13 meters) for a single coal seam Mobilization of the rig commenced immediately after the completion of the first core well in early July.

The second core well, TE-007C is located about 1.2 miles (2 kilometers) from TE-008C and approximately 118 miles (190 kilometers) west of Palembang, Indonesia. A truck mounted rig is being used to drill to a depth of 984 feet (300 meters) targeting known coal seams. This is the second of the three core wells to be drilled in the Tanjung Enim PSC during the quarter.

Upon completion of TE-007C, the rig will be mobilized to the third core well located in close proximity. Tanjung Enim PSC covers 121 square miles (312.7 square kilometrers) of the South Sumatra Basin and is situated in the more prolific coalbed methane (CBM) basin in Indonesia with existing gas pipeline infrastructure nearby.
