Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping has appointed Alan Kennedy Faichney to the Board as a non-executive Director with immediate effect.

Alan Faichney (53) is a mathematics graduate of St. Andrews University. Alan began his career in the Aerospace industry and later joined the oil exploration industry where he held key technical and strategic roles in product and market development. Alan held the positions of Managing Director of Concept Systems Limited and Senior Vice President of Ion Geophysical Inc.

An inventor of several US and worldwide hardware and software patents, Alan is highly experienced in software development and provision of technical services to industry. He has also worked extensively in a number of industry bodies over the past twenty years.

OHM’s Executive Chairman, Dave Pratt, said,“We are very pleased to have Alan join our Board. In addition to his sound industry knowledge his software and technical services experience together with his understanding of the issues surrounding technology adoption will be of great assistance to OHM as we strive to further integrate our CSEM and Rock Physics analysis packages.”
