Oniqua MRO Analytics, the leading provider of MRO analytics solutions for asset-intensive organizations, reported that users of Oniqua’s analytics-based MRO optimization solutions recently gathered in Asia-Pacific, South Africa and the Americas to attend the company’s annual Regional Users Workshops and Advisory Board conferences.

Delegate numbers greatly increased this year, with customers and partners from a variety of asset-intensive organizations attending, including BHP Billiton, ConocoPhillips, Freeport McMoRan, Rio Tinto, Xstrata Copper, Newmont Mining, Vale, Drummond Company, Goldfields Australia, Orange County Transit Authority, Ergon Energy, Energex, Anglo American, Caterpillar Logistics, MRO Logistics and Asset Management Services.

This year’s annual APAC Workshop was held near the company’s headquarters in Brisbane, Australia, on October 26-27th; while the Workshop in the Americas was held in Denver, Colorado, on November 15-16th. This year marked the inaugural Regional Users Workshop in South Africa, which was held in Johannesburg on October 10-11th. The Workshop in Africa enjoyed strong attendance with broad representation from coal, gold, mineral sands and manganese resources. A full range of mining operations were represented, including open cast and underground mining, separation plants, smelters and mobile fleets.

As in previous years, the conferences in APAC and the Americas were preceded by Oniqua Advisory Board meetings, where specially-elected customer representatives gather with Oniqua executives for high-level planning meetings and discussions. All three of this year's Workshops shared the unifying theme, "Delivering Value Through MRO Analytics", and hosted presentations and discussions centering around four key areas:

Problem solving and exchanging ideas around common MRO business challenges Case studies on the use of Oniqua Analytics Solution (OAS) Work-shopping the use of OAS – tips and tricks for solving topical issues and challenges Planned features and functionality in upcoming versions of OAS Client case studies proved to be a common highlight of this year’s workshops, which included presentations from Rio Tinto, Xstrata Copper Queensland, Goldfields Australia, Freeport McMoRan, ConocoPhillips and Newmont Mining.
