Petrobras - Mexilhao field

Petrobras reports its December 2010 production and the average production of 2010.

In December 2010, the average total oil, LNG and natural gas production, including international production was 2,731.3 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed), compared with 2,620.4 thousand boed in the previous month.

In the same month, oil and LNG production in Brazil averaged 2,122.0 thousand barrels per day (bpd), 4.5 % more than the November average of 2,031.0 thousand bpd.

The increase in volume was caused by the start-up of the FPSO-CAPX (Cachalote/Baleia Franca Field), P-48 platform (Caratinga Field), P-57 platform (Jubarte Field) and FPWSO-DYPR (Guará EWT).

Natural gas production in Brazil, excluding liquefied volume, averaged 58.7 million m³/day, 3.5 million m³/day up on the November figure of 55.3 million m³/day.
