PIDX INTERNATIONAL elects its executive team

PIDX INTERNATIONAL

PIDX INTERNATIONAL, the new independent, industry managed, non-profit standards body has elected its Executive team from the men and women who have been instrumental in the development and maintenance of global eBusiness standards for the oil and natural gas industry over the last 10 plus years.

PIDX, Inc. held elections today and is proud to announce the following results; these positions will begin effective immediately and will continue until the Annual Meeting of 2012:

Anthony Aming will assume the position of President and Director of PIDX, Inc. He will also Chair the Executive Committee of PIDX, Inc. Tony is the Enterprise Business and Applications Architect for Baker Hughes Inc.

John Hardey will assume the position of Vice President and will sit on the Executive Committee of PIDX, Inc. John is the Global Systems Supply Chain Advisor for Occidental Oil and Gas Corporation.

Michael Lanier will assume the position of Standards and Guidelines Committee Chair and will sit on the Executive Committee of PIDX, Inc. Michael is an eBusiness Specialist for Schlumberger.

Terry Thomas will assume the position of International Business Development Committee Chair and will sit on the Executive Committee of PIDX, Inc. Terry is the eBusiness Manager Global Sales and Marketing – eInitiatives for Schlumberger.

Dave Wallis will assume the position of Marketing Committee Chair and will sit on the Executive Committee of PIDX, Inc. Dave is the Europe Africa Middle & Far East Representative for OFS Portal LLC.

Ann Rolison will assume the position of At-Large Executive Committee Member. Ann is an Analyst in Terminal Services for Magellan Midstream Partners.

John Boardman will assume the position of At-Large Executive Committee Member. John is a Consultant for ACT Global Consulting Ltd.

Steve Green will assume the position of At-Large Executive Committee Member. Steve is the Director of IT Innovation for Weatherford International Ltd.

Dan Collins will assume the position of Past President and will sit on the Executive Committee of PIDX, Inc. Dan is the Sr. Manager E-Business for Halliburton.

“This team has decades of combined experience in eBusiness and it is an honour to work along side such dedicated professionals,” said John Hardy, Vice President of PIDX. Tony Aming, President of PIDX, said, “The Executive Committee is responsible for the planning and operational governance of PIDX and will ensure we carry out our role to assist the industry to be more effective through the use of eBusiness standards.”

“PIDX focus is global,’ said Terry Thomas, International Business Development Committee Chair for PIDX. “We will continue with our outreach programs to support the rapid international adoption of the PIDX standards.” “PIDX is also branded under the name of PIDX INTERNATIONAL, as a commitment to our global reach,” said Dave Wallis, Marketing Committee Chair of PIDX. “Membership is strong as trading partners in eBusiness worldwide desire to take an active role in standards development that will help the industry.”

“Developing and maintaining standards is an open process that balances different interests of the Industry,“ said Michael Lanier, Standards and Guidelines Committee Chair of PIDX. “As such we invite all interested parties to participate in the process”. “PIDX is in very capable hands and the industry looks forward to its continued global work,” said Dan Collins, Past President of PIDX. “We face the challenges and opportunities of the future with confidence.”
