The Board of Directors has decided to commence a process of evaluating the possible effects of a split of Prosafe into two focused, listed companies.

The evaluation will primarily address whether a split into a floating production company and an accommodation/service rig company would further enhance and visualize the values of its two business units. Also, the evaluation will investigate whether two focused companies can improve growth opportunities on a stand alone basis.
