Rocksource reports success in the UKCS 25th licensing round

Rocksource provides 2008 year-end production target

Following the announcement of awards from the UK 25th Licensing Round, Rocksource ASA says that its subsidiary Rocksource UK Ltd has been awarded 4 exploration licenses, consisting of 5 blocks. The awarded blocks are those which Rocksource prioritised during the application process in May 2008. The awarded blocks are:

Blocks 210/1 and 210/2 Licence Type: Frontier Partnership: Rocksource UK Ltd (Operator) Work Programme: Obtain 2D Seismic Data

Block 3/22 Licence Type: Traditional Partnership: Nautical Petroleum Plc (Operator), Canamens Energy North Sea Ltd and Rocksource UK Ltd Work Programme: CSEM Feasibility Modelling

Block 3/26 Licence Type: Traditional Partnership: Nautical Petroleum Plc (Operator), Canamens Energy North Sea Ltd and Rocksource UK Ltd Work Programme: CSEM Feasibility Modelling

Block 211/27d Licence Type: Promote Partnership: DNO UK Ltd (Operator), Elixir Petroleum (UK) Ltd and Rocksource UK Ltd Work Programme: To be confirmed
