Scana Industrier wins contract for production riser material supply

Scana Industrier ASA

Scana Industrier ASA has through its subsidiary Scana Subsea, been awarded a contract to deliver finished machined riser forgings. The value of the contract is approx. 83 mill. SEK. The high Pressure Production Risers are intended for a TLP platform on the Norwegian continental shelf.

The scope includes forging and machining of production riser joints and additional components. The contract positions Scana for potential additional deliveries for the project, as well as upcoming pursuits elsewhere in the world.

Manufacturing is planned to start during 4th quarter 2012 and deliveries will commence from 4th quarter 2013 to 3rd quarter 2014.
