Oil recruitment specialists Scoro Solutions has added a new executive to its team as it embarks on a period of growth and expansion.

Already quickly establishing a reputation as one of the leaders in the competitive field, Martin Sim joins as a recruitment executive at a pivotal time for the Aberdeen company as it gears up to increase its market share.

Scoro, based at AVC Media Centre in Wellington Circle, offers a prestige bespoke service tailored to meet the needs of both clients and candidates.

The company, founded by directors Ross Gatt and Scott Shand in 2009, now has a team of seven highly qualified recruitment experts working across a broad spectrum of fields and professions within the global energy sector.

Based at the company's headquarters the position will involve 27-year-old Martin sourcing and selecting key engineering and technical professionals for high end roles within the oil and gas sector.

The new move also represents a change in career direction for Martin who joins having previously worked as a technician for a manufacturing firm.

'I am looking forward to the new challenge of working with Scoro Solutions in what is a highly rewarding industry,' said Martin.

'My previous experience of working as a technician means I have the advantage of the shop floor knowledge. That gives me a greater appreciation of what employers will be looking for which will work to my benefit in sourcing the exact fit candidate.'

Director Ross Gatt is delighted to welcome Martin to the team ahead of what is already proving to be an exciting 2011 for Scoro.

He said: 'We have all been impressed with Martin's application and attitude and believe he has the key attributes to develop into a highly regarded recruitment specialist.'
