Seafox 7

Seafox Contractors has been awarded a long-term contract with a major oil company for the charter of the accommodation and multi-support jack-up unit 'Seafox 7'.

The Seafox 7 will be used mainly for fabrication and maintenance operations in the UK sector of the SNS area.

The Seafox 7, built at Labroy Shipyard and delivered earlier this year, has been active in the SNS area since May 2008 and will commence operations in the Southern North Sea for the major oil company in Q1 2009 until initially Q3 2012 with option running into 2014.

“This oil company is a major player in the North Sea and we are proud to have been awarded this contract” says Keesjan Cordia, managing director of Seafox Contractors BV. “It confirms our strong belief in the value of building long-term relationships”.
