AGR Field Operations says that Mr. Gunnar Hilsen has been appointed Vice President of Maintenance Management. At the same time Mr. Arvind Chetty has been appointed Vice President Sales and Marketing.

Mr. Hilsen has been with AGR Field Operations since August 2007 in the role of Vice President Sales and Marketing. Before joining AGR he has held positions as General Manager in SpecTec AS and International Product Manager in Xantic Group BV/Visma ASA.

Arvind Chetty, currently Business Development Manager for the Asia Pacific region, will assume the position of Vice President Sales and Marketing for AGR Field Operations. Arvind has been with AGR since 2004, starting as West Australia Manager during which time he worked on a number of projects including the Basker-Manta-Gummy development for Anzon and the Cliffhead project for Roc Oil. Before joining AGR, Mr. Chetty has worked as a power plant engineer for SCANA Corporation in the US, Field Engineer and management roles in Schlumberger and as Regional Sales Manager for Eastern Oil Tools.

Gunnar knows the organization and the market segment well and will focus on further development and internationalization of the Maintenance Management product line.”

Arvind has been responsible for processes that have led to contracts such as the recent one with Reliance in India consisting of offering services within Subsea Operations, Inspection, Maintenance and Repair (OIMR)”, said Mr Åge Landro, Executive Vice President of AGR Field Operations.

“I would like to thank the current VP of Maintenance Management, Ole Jørgen Melleby, for the work he has done in developing Maintenance Management into a significant player within its niche”, added Mr. Landro. Mr. Melleby is leaving AGR Field Operations to pursue new opportunities outside AGR.
