Sino achieves a gas flow rate of 2 MMscf/d at TB-23 well in Linxing PSC

Sino Gas & Energy Holdings Limited says that a flow rate of 2.0 million standard cubic feet per day (MMscf/d) has been achieved from a middle zone of TB-23 on the Linxing Production Sharing Contract (PSC) in Ordos Basin, Shanxi Province, China.

The 13.1 feet (4 meters) pay zone was fracced on TB-23 in the prospective central-western portion of Linxing (West). Flow testing conducted over 5 days achieved a stable flow rate of 2.0 MMscf/d at a relatively stable flowing tubing head pressure of 1,250 psi (approximately 2.36 MMscf/d calculated at standard field pressure of 200 psi).
